Hello, I’m Terrie Donovan, and I’m running for Mayor because I believe in strong communities and effective leadership. I’ve called Charlotte home for over 25 years, after growing up in Virginia and studying at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. Before entering real estate, I helped military veterans transition into civilian careers, an experience that taught me the value of service and resilience.

As a small business owner, I’ve built relationships across the globe through my travels to India, Australia, Spain, South Africa, Mexico, Germany and France. These experiences shape my vision for a more inclusive, connected Charlotte.

I’m passionate about helping others and seeing our city thrive whether through real estate, music festivals, cycling, yoga, or travel. As your Mayor, I’m committed to building a Charlotte where businesses thrive, neighborhoods are safe, and every citizen can live with confidence. Safety will be my top priority, and I will work tirelessly to ensure our city is a place where
everyone feels secure.
